Kris Hazard has dedicated his entire adult life to dance. He put in years of intense training in ballet and modern dance at University of North Carolina School for the Arts, then went on to earn a BFA in Musical Theatre from Elon University. After college, he enjoyed a wide-ranging career in the arts, including a broadway national tour of The Wizard of Oz.

Kris has trained extensively in Ballroom and Latin dance, working with esteemed coaches and judges such as Ilya Reyzin, Gary Pierce, Tony Dovolani, and brothers Max and Val Chmerkovsky of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. He has taught and choreographed regionally and for national companies such as Dance With Me and Fred Astaire Dance Studios.
